We see bits of hope that can be dashed away by new problems and wonderings. Little Reese’s spirits are at an all time low and it takes everything she has to get through the day. One of her new meds takes an average of sixteen days to kick in, and we are on day 8, half way there. We will have a breakthrough, it has to be coming. And here to pray with us for this breakthrough is “God’s helper” Father Dan, from our church, Sacred Heart Parish in Winnetka. He hopped on a plane early this morning and was bedside by early afternoon. We are blessed.
Those of you who so generously sent us a “dinner” in the form of Munchery back in April, thank you. Your gift has made a big difference in our journey. The opportunity to come together at dinner, without stress, after a long day at the hospital, is love. All of our helpers benefit from your gift as well, and it gives us peace at the end of the day. Thank you.
